Kristoff, Karsten Kroon Battle To Finish
After a group of 32 riders escaped after 30 kilometers, the BMC Racing Team led the pursuit, keeping the gap within 90 seconds. "Danilo Wyss, Martin Kohler and Michael Schär did a good job helping with the pursuit," BMC Racing Team Assistant Directeur Jacques Michaud said. The break split on one of the final laps of the circuit, with Lars Boom (Rabobank) winning. Kristoff was second in the field sprint.
