Alexander Kristoff sprinted to his 14th top 10 finish of the season for the BMC Racing Team Wednesday with 10th place at Memorial Rik Van Steenbergen in Belgium.
Good Teamwork
Mathias Frank recovered from a crash and Martin Kohler was in a short-lived breakaway before the BMC Racing Team worked to set up Kristoff for the final, won by Michael Van Staeyen (Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator). "My teammates all helped me during the race," Kristoff said. "(Michael) Schär and (Simon) Zahner did a great job to get me in position in the last five kilometers because I had some trouble on the last lap. I thought the podium was in reach, but a guy in front of me braked and I kind of crashed into him."
