Flèche Brabanconne: Day For The Strongest

14. aprile 2010

Overijse, Belgium

Karsten Kroon finished 15th for the BMC Racing Team Wednesday at Flèche Brabanconne as a three-man breakaway stayed away to the finish of the 200 kilometer race.

Difficult Circuit

Kroon was part of a chase group that finished 57 seconds behind the trio, which led by eight minutes with 70 km to go. “I thought those three would be brought back,” BMC Racing Team Assistant Director Michael Sayers said. “But they were also three really strong guys, and the circuit was so difficult that it was really hard to chase.” Brent Bookwalter was in Kroon’s group for a time, but a flat tire ended his day. Sébastien Rosseler (Team RadioShack) took the win.
