The Belgian national champion is coming off his best performance of the season – third place at Flèche Wallonne Wednesday. Two others on the BMC Racing Team's roster, Klaas Lodewyck (7th in 2008) and Greg Van Avermaet (7th last year), have top 10 finishes at the 257.5-kilometer race to their credit.
