LENSESCAPE - young talent photography with Evoc and BMC, September 2011, Lenzerheide

13. February 2012

BMC is happy to support brilliant initiatives. Like the one from the equipment and bag manufacturer Evoc. This company organized a 3-day photo seminar in Lenzerheide for 10 young junior photographers together with the BMC rider Tobi Woggon and the two professional photographers Philipp Ruopp and Hoshi Yoshida. Under the professional direction of the team of photographers, all questions about modern sports photography were answered and important tips given "on location". There was no shortage of appropriate themes: In addition to Tobi Woggon, the bike professionals Daniel Schäfer and Max Schumann provided plenty of bike action with the female support of Laura Bretthauer. The fact that the first major snowfall happened in Lenzerheide on precisely this workshop weekend did not dampen the motivation of the participants. The shoot continued until the SD cards were glowing despite the most adverse conditions with almost 40 centimeters of fresh snow. The result is an enormous selection of top shots that can truly hold their own against professional mountain bike pictures. Hape Kuner was there and made sure for BMC that the bikes were always nice and ready to perform. We at BMC are greatly pleased that two of this type of events will take place again over the next year. And we will certainly be there.
