Name of Product: Fork Aprebic ACC-A704DN50B, full carbon

Hazard: The forks can crack or break above brake mount posing a fall hazard to consumers.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the bicycles and contact BMC for instructions on how to receive a free replacement.

Description: This recall involves Fork Aprebic ACC-A704DN50B full carbon forks equipped on certain versions of the Alpenchallenge AC01 105/Tiagra (model year 2012 and 2013); Alpenchallenge AC01 Rival (model year 2012 and 2013); Urbanchallenge UC01 Alfine 11 (model year 2012 and 2013); Masschallenge MC01 Team (model year 2012) bicycles. Bicycles are black and yellow.
Incidents/Injuries
Remedy:
Consumers should stop using these bicycles immediately and contact their local authorized BMC dealer for instructions on how to receive a replacement fork.
