World Cup Test on a „Cool Circuit“

6. April 2014

BMC Racing Cup, Lugano/Tesserete

Last weekend Julien Absalon won the three-day Raider Cap Esterel in St. Raphael. „It was great fun and it offered me the opportunity to continue working on my shape," said the Frenchman.

He plans to take his next and final step towards top shape in Tesserete, right before things will turn to get really serious in Pietermaritzburg. This also applies for Moritz Milatz, who won the Tesserete race in 2012. This week he was feeling a bit ill, but he is sure that he will be up to the mark when he lines up for the race on Sunday:

„In my opinion the Tesserete circuit is really cool. Of course, you should be cautious not to annihilate yourself right before you enter the plane to South Africa", says the 31-year-old, referring to both the avoidance of crashes as well as the avoidance of utter physical exhaustion.

After having suffered muscular injury in February Ralph Naef did his first race last Sunday in Montichiari. The Swiss rider was quite surprised that he was able to finish in third position right away.
„I was amazed that everything was going so well. At the start, I still lack some punch, but otherwise it was okay," said Ralph Naef. During the race in Tesserete he plans to get some work done on his current weak spots.

Reto Indergand's primary objectives will be to come closer to the level of his team colleagues and to claim a top ten ranking in a high-calibre field of elite riders.
