Confidence Inspiring: Both the frame and the fork are built with integrated postmount interfaces to install the standard road disc calipers from Shimano, Sram and Formula. More braking power means you can brake later, saving time and maintaining momentum in the process. It also relieves stress from your hands and arms on long sinuous mountain descents, reduces the risk of overheating the wheels, and offers consistent touch and feel no matter the conditions the weather throws at you. Wen we say this is confidence inspiring, we mean it! Thanks to the tapered 1-1/8 to 1 1/2-inch steerer tube, oversized down tube and massive chain stays, the bike corners like it is on rails, going exactly where you pilot it without any fuss or hesitation, always converting every ounce of pedal pressure into forward acceleration.

Vertical Compliance: Our Tuned Compliance Concept is enhanced with our Angle Compliance System to add lots of vertical give thanks to the cantilevered rear dropouts and pre-flexed, flattened seat stays, and the added rake on the fork. Our proprietary seat post, which is designed to flex in response to upwards force, is also part of the compliance system. Designed around and specified with 28 mm tires this bike this bike let you tackle the roughest roads with ease.

Ease of use: With the integrated chain catcher, durable tires and hassle-free components this bike will take you for thousands of kilometres without interruptions. Spend less time in the workshop, more on your bike!

Ergonomics: The geometry has been optimized for riding long distances on rough roads. This means the bike is very stable, with a greater bottom bracket drop and slightly more laid-back head tube angle. The touch of the hydraulic disc brakes is addictive; you will soon forget the soft and spongy feeling of cable actuated brakes.

Future-Proof: With our DTi (dual transmission integration), the Granfondo GF01 offers clean cable routing for both Di2 and mechanical drivetrains. You want to upgrade your bike to the latest drivetrain technology? No problem with DTi.

Optimized ride qualities in carbon products thanks to BMC's Tuned Compliance Concept (TCC).

With a neat combination of different carbon fibers and their alignment, and by applying stepped tube profiles, we achieve increased vertical compliance while maintaining high levels of lateral and torsional stiffness. The TCC zones on the frame, fork and seatpost boost the comfort rating noticeably. TCC significantly improves the ride experience by slowing the onset of rider fatigue and through precision handling and efficient power transmission.

Our frames are future proof. With a growing selection of electronic groupsets, electronic shifting is becoming more popular and affordable. For this reason, all our new road frames are compatible with electronic shifting. You want to update to the latest high end technology? No problem with a BMC frame. Even our entry level Granfondo GF02 bike is compatible with Di2.

DTi leaves you total freedom in your choice of groupsets. The one frame is cleverly designed to accept every transmission possibility; electronic or mechanical transmission. That is Dual Transmission integration. You have clean cable routing with mechanical shifting, but if you switch to Di2 no unnecessary cable stops are left, all the holes are in the right place for minimal exposed electronic cables and a clean look.
