Concept
Geometry and component specification are carefully selected so that the urbanchallenge can be ridden almost anywhere. The position is upright enough for in-town visibility and the wide-range internal gearing helps make sure you get where you’re going quickly. The frame accepts a wide range of accessories, as well as being compatible with all three wheel sizes common on modern bicycles.
Reliability
You depend on your bike and need it every day, so you don’t want to spend much time maintaining it. We designed the urbanchallenge around the Gates Carbon Drive system to deliver light weight, quiet, clean, dependable performance. Our frame uses proven technical solutions, and we build it with worry-free components: puncture-resistant tires, internal gear hubs and hydraulic disc brakes.

The skeleton concept iSC (integrated Skeleton Concept) has been around since the first legendary promachine. Since then, the concept has spent over a decade being refined and redefined. The idea is saving weight by supporting the top tube at the seat tube and increasing the stiffness where it is needed. In the front triangle of the frame.
