BMC Racing Team Owner Andy Rihs shared his advice for success when he presented the Swiss national under-17 football team with the "best team" honor Sunday at the Swiss Sports Awards.

Rihs joined a host of other Swiss sports celebrities at the annual awards ceremony in Zurich. Awards were handed out in more than a dozen categories. Rihs said he was honored to present the award to the team which won the 2009 World Cup in Nigeria. "They are a very enthusiastic group of athletes, not hard-core pros doing it for the salary," Rihs said. "I believe in teams because teams can outperform individuals in a dramatic way. You can overcome defeats and frustrations better as a team. You're also closer. A company is a team. A family is a team. The government should be a team. But if you have a bunch of egomaniacal guys, they will never achieve anything."
