Unidirectional Carbon

Carbon fibres can withstand an extreme tensile loading. The exact orientation of the fibres is an important consideration. Traditional crossed heavy fibre bundles are ideal for use where load bearing is unclear. Since we know the exact load bearing of each part of a frame we can align fibres unidirectionally to achieve a higher strength with less weight.
