This CNT integration process is being used in the production of the Pro Machine SLC01 and the Fourstroke 01. The greatest weakness of traditional carbon fibre frames is due to the miniscule spaces between the fibres that contains only resin. To optimise the stability, hardness and durability of the resin/fibre matrix the researchers at EASTON have developed a novel Enhanced Resin System™. In this processing method the resin/fibre matrix is impregnated and strengthened with evenly distributed CNTs. The result is a matrix that is up to 20% stronger for practically the same weight.
