Skeleton Concept Identity Trait 

The skeleton like junction between the seat tube, seat stays and top tube is now legendary and probably the most striking feature of a BMC frame. A BMC frame is so characteristic you can easily identify in pitch black through touch alone:

skeleton crosslock concept SCC – our original concept is technically logical and that is what makes it so brilliant. First applied in our legendary Team Machine SLT01 the SCC has influenced the entire BMC design language. The construction allows shorter tube lengths with the oblique frame joints giving longer and stronger welds.<//font>

integrated skeleton concept ISC – through cleverly chosen reinforcing elements we have achieved a perfectly matched force dispersion through key stress nodes in the frame which, in conjunction with the typical BMC tube cross-sections, allows an optimal combination of stiffness and weight.
