Alexander Kristoff sprinted to seventh place Saturday at Paris-Brussels, registering his 10th top 10 finish of the season for the BMC Racing Team.

The BMC Racing Team was prominent in the final kilometers of the 219.5 km race, with Steve Morabito and Michael Schär following attacks in the last 25 km, followed by a solo counter attack by Marcus Burghardt with 5 km to go. Finally, it was Schär again on the front, setting the pace for nearly two kilometers leading into the final sprint. "Michi did a super job keeping me in position at the end," Kristoff said. "I had (eventual winner) Denis Galimzyanov's wheel at the end, but I was totally dead and had no legs to keep my position." BMC Racing Team Assistant Director Fabio Baldato was pleased with the performance. The same riders will compete in GP de Fourmies Sunday. "I'm happy with the kind of race the guys did today," Baldato said. "They worked well as a team."
