BMC Racing Team Ready For Lichtervelde

Lichtervelde, Belgium

The BMC Racing Team looks to continue a string of top 10 finishes Wednesday when it competes at Omloop van het Houtland in Lichtervelde, Belgium.

Versatile Lineup

Danilo Wyss was one of several BMC Racing Team riders who helped Alexander Kristoff register his fourth straight top 10 placing Sunday at GP d'Isbergues. Last year, Wyss was the team's best finisher in the 204-kilometer race. "My form is good but I think the team will ride for Alex who is doing well in the sprints right now," Wyss said. BMC Racing Team Assistant Director Rik Verbrugghe said the team's 10-man lineup is one catered to more than just a bunch sprint after a 115 km loop and eight laps of a 9.8 km circuit are completed. "If there is wind, it could be dangerous in the first part of the race," Verbrugghe said. "But then we have guys who have done the classics who will be good in those conditions."
