Working For Wyss At GP d'Isbergues-Pas de Calais

19. September 2010

Isbergues, France

Often the worker himself, Danilo Wyss enjoyed the comfort of having the BMC Racing Team working for him Sunday at GP d'Isbergues-Pas de Calais. But a crash in the final sprint stopped the Swiss from achieving a good result.

Kohler In Chase Group
As the gap to a four-rider breakaway came down, the BMC Racing Team put Martin Kohler in a chase group. But Kohler's group was eventually brought back while Aleksejs Saramotins (HTC-Columbia) survived from the original breakaway to win solo. "The guys did a great job of working to position Danilo in the last five kilometers and he was in a good position for the field sprint," BMC Racing Team Assistant Director Fabio Baldato said. "But a crash on the last left turn forced him to brake and lose position."
