BMC Racing Team Announces Paris-Tours Roster

8. oktober 2010

La Loupe, France

Former world road champion Alessandro Ballan will be the BMC Racing Team's appointed leader for Sunday's 104th edition of the French fall classic, Paris-Tours.

Make It Selective

The recent world road championships in Australia played a big part in the roster BMC Racing Team Directeur Sportif John Lelangue selected for the 233-kilometer race. "Due to the time difference and the jet lag, we won't have some of the guys we would normally have for this race," Lelangue said. "We will try to make the race around Alessandro or maybe make it more selective. The last 20 kilometers are up and down with some steep climbs where it can be selective enough to avoid a sprint."

Alessandro Ballan (ITA), Chad Beyer (USA), Chris Butler (USA), Cole House (USA), Jeff Louder (USA), Michael Schär (SUI), Simon Zahner (SUI).

Staff:
Doctor: Dario Spinelli (ITA). Mechanics: Kevin Grove (USA), Nick Vandecauter (BEL). Soigneurs: Graeme McCallum (RSA), Chris De Vos (BEL), Anthony Pauwels (BEL). Bus Driver: Francis Bur (FRA).
