Aggressive Approach For Pais Vasco

2. April 2011

Zumarraga, Spain

Without a specific team leader for the general classification, the BMC Racing Team will set its sights on breakaways and stage wins when Vuelta al Pais Vasco begins Monday.

Hard Race

The six-stage race includes four hilly stages, one for the sprinters and a 24-kilometer time trial. "Our goal is to get someone in the top five every day," BMC Racing Team Assistant Director Michael Sayers said. Martin Kohler, who has only raced 10 days so far, said he hopes to quickly find his race rhythm. "It's a hard race – always up and down," he said. "I think we can do well as a team, ride aggressively and go for a stage win."
