Salt Lake City, Utah

Brent Bookwalter finished third, Jeff Louder earned the Best Utah Rider jersey and U.S. national champion George Hincapie was also in the top 10 for the BMC Racing Team Tuesday night in the prologue of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah presented by Zions Bank.

Hincapie Eighth

Bookwalter was 11 seconds off the winning time by Taylor Phinney (Trek-LIVESTRONG) on the 4.5-kilometer course, while Louder was another four seconds back in seventh. Hincapie finished eighth in only his fifth time trial of the year. Bookwalter said he was more focused last year when he won the prologue. "This was my first race effort in three weeks," Bookwalter said. "With that in mind, I did OK."

Louder Proud
Louder, who lives in Salt Lake City and who was third overall a year ago, said he's proud to be leading the Best Utah Rider category. "It's definitely an honor," he said. "I'm proud of being a Utahan and having the race in Utah. I hope to keep the jersey the rest of the race."
