World Champion and Grand Tour Winner
Time and again the BMC SLR01 has proven its merits. Not only did Cadel Evans win the 2011 Tour de France on the SLR01, but Philippe Gilbert won the 2012 World Championships on it as well. Lightweight, stiff, and agile, the SLR01 gives you the confidence to power up climbs and attack descents. The new BMC SLR01 will be in store in July. Our Tuned Compliance Concept, or TCC, ensures that you remain comfortable and fresh, especially during the final moments of a race. So, if you want to launch a surprise assault on the Cauberg after 265km to win the World Championship, the BMC SLR01 is the bike you want.

tuned compliance concept

BMC's tuned compliance concept (TCC)

Optimized ride qualities in carbon products thanks to BMC's Tuned Compliance Concept (TCC).

With a neat combination of different carbon fibers and their alignment, and by applying stepped tube profiles, we achieve increased vertical compliance while maintaining high levels of lateral and torsional stiffness. The TCC zones on the frame, fork and seatpost boost the comfort rating noticeably. TCC significantly improves the ride experience by slowing the onset of rider fatigue and through precision handling and efficient power transmission.
