The BMC Concept
BWC
The BWC (Big Wheel Concept) developed by BMC only has one goal: To utilize the advantages of the 29er without having any of its disadvantages. The short head tube in combination with the somewhat longer top tube results in a sporty seat position that is undreamt of for a 29er. The short chain stays make the bike very nimble and a wide handlebar and short stem give you full control, even in fast passages.
TCC
Through the sizing and selection of the carbon material, we achieve a stiff basis consisting of the chain stay, down tube and head tube. Because the stiffness is required here for acceleration and precision. The seat tube, seatpost and seat stays, on the other hand, offer the necessary comfort that allows the rider to efficiently transform his
power into speed without becoming fatigued for as long as possible. Result = uncompromisingly light and incredibly efficient - the ultimate 29er race hardtail.
Compliancepost manufactured from carbon & TCC for vertical compliance, 27,2mm. External seat clamp that was perfectly adapted to the frame concept.
The brake mount is bolted directly onto the frame, avoiding power loss from the braking effect and promoting system integration. Designed for 160mm brake disks. When fitting 180mm / 185mm brake rotors, the supplied adapters must be used for mounting the brakes. The aluminum inserts are exchangeable.
