BMC Racing Team Could Surprise In Austria

1. July 2011

Dornbirn, Austria

With a roster that includes newly-crowed Swiss time trial champion Martin Kohler and Italian national road race runner-up Mauro Santambrogio, the BMC Racing Team brings an on-form squad to the Tour of Austria.

Well-Rounded Team
The eight-day race begins Sunday and includes a 30-kilometer individual time trial on the penultimate stage. "Santambrogio seems to be on incredible form, so for the general classification or a stage win, he'll be good and Kohler is also going well," BMC Racing Team Assistant Director Michael Sayers said. "We have a team that's going to be a little underrated, but they are riders who have good form." Kohler said the squad is well-rounded. "We are a very strong team – with climbers, sprinters, breakaway guys and also good time trialists," he said.
