BMC Racing Team Announces Giro d'Italia Roster

Past Giro d'Italia leaders Cadel Evans and Taylor Phinney highlight the BMC Racing Team's roster for this year's race.

Race Begins Saturday
Evans returns to the Italian grand tour for the first time since 2010, when he wore the maglia rosa leader's jersey for one day and won a stage and the points classification during his season as the world road champion. Phinney won the Stage 1 individual time trial last year and held the race lead until the Stage 4 team time trial in his first participation. Joining them on the BMC Racing Team's nine-man roster are Adam Blythe, Steve Cummings, Klaas Lodewyck, Steve Morabito, Daniel Oss, Ivan Santaromita and Danilo Wyss. Sport directors for the BMC Racing Team will be Fabio Baldato and Max Sciandri. The 21-stage race begins Saturday.
