Greg & Laura Bennett

Greg & Laura mit der timemachine TM01 und dem impec

Greg and Laura Bennett are the most successful married couple in the world of triathlon and are among the most respected names in the world of triathlon. The native Australian Greg and his American wife live in Boulder (USA) or Noosa (Australia).

Particularly in the US, they had a considerable impact on the Olympic triathlon with their performances and experienced the development of the fringe sport to a mass movement on the highest athletic level. Their successes in the sport were worthwhile for both passionate athletes: Over their long careers, both won impressive prize money; among others, they won the race with the largest prize purse in the world in Des Moines (USA) Greg even twice. In addition, the achievements of both show fourth place in the Olympic Games, underscoring the world-class form of the couple.
With the year-long focus on a high base speed that is essential for success over the short distance, the triathlon couple has the best qualifications to succeed in various distances and under various systems of rules. The couple is thus facing a problem of luxury in the coming season when it comes to focusing on a particular race series or a particular race: On the one hand, the precious Olympic metal is alluring; however this requires a grueling qualification program. On the other hand, the WTC with its Ironman 5150 and 70.3 series offers interesting non-drafting competitions that also play to the skills of the Bennetts.
